Who are we?

Let's make some introductions:
This business is run by Matthew Price in a combined role as NFU Group Secretary and Agent for NFU Mutual Insurance.

	Matthew Price (Senior Group Secretary)	Matthew took over this business in 1989 following three agents. He is a Rural Practice Chartered Surveyor and Agricultural valuer by profession and before joining NFU Mutual was an auctioneer in Gloucester Cattle Market. Married with two daughters he is a self-confessed 'Land Rover nut' and is an enthusiast for the rural way of life and his home county of Dorset in particular.
	Kay Bartlett (Claims Supervisor)	Kay is our longest serving member of staff and is approaching her silver anniversary with NFU Mutual in North Dorset. Regarded by many of our members and customers as being " NFU Mutual " in this area. Her considerable experience enables her to deal effectively with almost any enquiry coming into the office. She particularly takes responsibility for ensuring that insurance claims are dealt with swiftly, efficiently and with good humour so minimising the disruption you experience when disaster strikes.
	Susan Pollard (Accounts Supervisor)	Every effective business needs someone to ensure that its financial dealings with its customers are handled accurately and with a geniune understanding of what lies behind them. This is where Sue really comes into her own as our Accounts Supervisor. A farmers daughter and with brothers who are successful farmers in their own rights, she has worked for NFU Mutual since school and so there is not much she doesn't know about the NFU, NFU Mutual and the services we offer.
	Alison Keal (Insurance Clerk)	Although the newest member of the team, Alison joined us with considerable previous insurance experience gained with some of the biggest names in the market. Her role is primarily to provide customers with help and advice on Home and Contents, motor and other non-commercial insurances and to process the resulting policy documentation via the NFU Mutual's advanced internal computer network. An animal lover in her spare time, Alison is a voluntary RSPCA homes inspector. Another claim to fame is that she once represented her country in canoeing!
	Sylvia Perrin (Part Time office Assistant)	Sylvia is yet another staff member boasting a true farming pedigree having farmed with husband Roy for many years before he retired. She is widely regarded among us as 'the office treasure' joining us two or three days a week and bringing respite by helping to ease the workloads wherever required - helping Sue with the accounts; Kay with many of the claims procedures; and frequently preparing routine household and motor quotes. We'd feel lost without her!
	Ros Lenarduzzi (Office Assistant)	Last, but by no means least let us introduce you to Ros. There's a good chance that if ever you telephone us, Ros will be the first person you speak to and will very possibly look after any routine enquiries you may have. She is our resident word processing expert and one day a week is a tutor on the subject at a local college.
